Chelsea Handler got naked in front of Ellen DeGeneres as she tried to prove to her she is a lesbian in sketch on the live "Chelsea Lately" series finale on Aug 26.

The series finales started with a nude shower sketch, in which Handler was scrubbing down naked when DeGeneres came in.

Since she has never been invited as a guest on "Chelsea Lately," DeGeneres demanded to know why and asked Handler if it has something to do with her being a lesbian. Handler then defended herself by joking she herself is a lesbian.

At one point, Handler also said she thought DeGeneres was married to "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest.

This is the third time the "Chelsea Lately" host got naked while showering with a guest after she did similar sketches with Sandra Bullock and Conan O'Brien.

After "Chelsea Lately," Handler has an upcoming series of comedy specials with Netflix. In 2016, she will also launch a new talk show, according to New York Daily News.

After the "Chelsea Lately" series finale, Handler took to Instagram to share a photo of her and two dogs messing around on a sofa with a caption, "It's over."

DeGeneres also took to Twitter to share a video of the nude shower sketch.

"I had a great time shooting this with @ChelseaHandler. Interesting fact - her breasts are pixilated in real life," DeGeneres tweeted.

Prior to this, DeGeneres also took to Twitter to joke about the rumors "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara caused a rift between her and wife Portia de Rossi.

"Congratulations, "Modern Family!" They said America wasn't ready, but you proved them wrong. Of course, I'm talking about @SofiaVergara," she tweeted after the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards, where "Modern Family" won for Best Comedy Series.

Months ago, de Rossi was reportedly jealous of DeGeneres and Vergara's friendship.

"Portia has always thought Ellen was a little too touchy-feely with Sofia. They've fought about it before, but Ellen convinced Portia she was blowing the situation out of proportion and that the women were just good friends," a source told OK! Magazine in June.

Meanwhile, Vergara recently told E! Online "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello could not come with her at the Emmys because he was "too hot.
