Just last week Lea Michele's Twitter account was hacked and the "Glee" season 6 star was left devastated after the cruel internet hoax the claimed she was pregnant.

According to Entertainment Wise, following the hack, the "Brunette Ambition" author's rep quickly denied the pregnancy rumor but the damage was already done with plenty of negative backlash.

The fake tweet read, "Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy."

A source close to the "Louder" artist said, "It has been devastating for Lea to have been hacked let alone over something so cruel. She has only just managed to get back on her feet and has begun a new relationship."

Although she is dating Matthew Paetz the actress is still sensitive about the tragic death of her former boyfriend and "Glee" costar Cory Monteith.

Back in May, for the late actor's 32nd birthday Lea Michele took to her Twitter account to wish her former love a happy birthday.

The "Cannonball" singer tweeted "The biggest heart and most beautiful smile.. In all of our hearts.. We love you so. Happy Birthday."

Following Monteith's death from a drug overdose, Michele revealed that his love and encouragement made her feel like she could "reach for the stars".

She told Teen Vogue, "My relationship with Cory made me feel like I could reach for the stars and more," adding, "He would be like, 'You're going to be a pop star."'

At the time she revealed that she was not ready to start dating just yet and was more focused on her career.

Lea Michele explained, "Maybe in a little while I'll be like, 'What do I want?' But I'm not quite there yet."
