OK we're all for going without any makeup and freeing yourself from being a beauty product junkie every now and then, but this might take that carefree attitude just a little too far.

The generation known as Millenials has some explaining to do on this one -- or maybe their parents do?

CNBC recently reported that within a Bank of America Trends in Consumer Mobility report, a few disturbing self-grooming habits seemed to be amiss, or rather nonexistent.

"Surveyors asked 1,000 adults about the importance of various items in their daily lives," reported Kelli Grant.

"Among Millennials, 93 percent said a smartphone was "very" or "somewhat" important, making it the most important item for that age group. Fewer-87 percent-said deodorant was of daily importance, and 91 percent, a toothbrush."

Say what?

We get how addictive a smartphone can be, but come on! Seriously? Who can deny the importance of bright pearly whites and deodorant?

These shocking survey findings put Millenials in a smelly league of their own. No surprise here.

CNBC says these results are a clear departure from older generations. Among all adults surveyed, deodorant and smartphones were deemed equally important in daily life, at 91 percent, while the toothbrush got top ranking, with 95 percent saying it's a daily must.
