Sofia Vergara does not waste any time! Just six weeks after splitting from fiancé Nick Loeb, the "Modern Family" star has moved on with "Magic Mike" actor Joe Manganiello. Multiple insiders confirmed the new relationship to Us Weekly, and we think it is adorable!
"It's very, very new," a source confessed. "They're having fun and getting to know each other."
The couple was formally introduced in May at the White House Correspondent's dinner, and Manganiello visited her for the Fourth of July. They were spotted getting cozy at Lil' Dizzy's Café in Louisiana, where Vergara is filming "Don't Mess With Texas" with Reese Witherspoon.
"They were very friendly and took pictures with other diners," another source notes, adding "they held each other and kissed several times."
They also "shared a table with some regular patrons since the restaurant was so crowded."
"Sofia is Joe's dream girl!" a third source reveals. "He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far."
"Sofia had no idea that he had been crushing on her for a while," the first souce adds.
Vergara and Loeb split in May after dating on and off since 2010. She broke the news on her WhoSay profile.
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have desided [sic] to be apart," Vergara wrote.
"We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and becouse [sic] of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore."
She concluded with, "We are still very close but we belive [sic] is the best thing for us right now."
In June it was speculated the couple actually split because Vergara still cared for her nightclub owner ex Joe Paciello, who a source close to the star calls "her one that got away."
