Adam Levine can't turn down a good experience, even if it doesn't pay! The Maroon 5 front man was not paid for his role as Dave Kohl in "Begin Again," co-starring Kiera Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.
"I did this movie for no money. I'm very lucky that I'm in that position," the "Payphone" crooner told USA Today.
"I want to have good experiences. I don't want to do a bunch of s*** that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money," Levine continued.
He also took time to gush over his model fiancé, Behati Prinsloo, who he will wed this month.
"She's incredible and that alone makes me the luckiest person in the world," Levine told the publication.
We told you last month the two will marry at the Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos. A rehearsal dinner will take place Friday, July 18, and the pair will exchange vows the next day. According to a source an additional gathering will be held that Sunday so guests can say goodbye to the newlyweds.
The Victoria's Secret angel already has her dress, which she describes as "bohemian" and "very her."
The pair will honeymoon near Prinsloo's native Namibia, according to Us Weekly, to "celebrate with people who can't make the trip."
Levine took the traditional route when it came to popping the question - he asked her dad for permission first!
"I don't want to talk about it - you know how I am - but yes, of course I did. I had to. And it was extremely nerve-wracking," he told Ryan Seacrest.
