Demi Lovato has continued to prove that she is one of Hollywood's biggest supporter of gay rights as the "Neon Lights" singer served as grand marshal of Los Angeles Pride and is set to perform at LGBT festivities in New York City.

According to E! News, the "Let It Go" singer revealed who her celebrity girl crush is. She confessed, "I love Amber Heard," adding, "She's so gorgeous, it's ridiculous."

During Logo TV's Trailblazers event Demi Lovato revealed that her late grandfather was gay and came out in the 1960s.

Although the "Really Don't Care" artist never met her grandfather because he died before she was born, she has always heard about him and his coming out.

Lovato said, "It makes so much sense as to why I feel so connected to standing up for what I believe in."

She added, "When I heard the word 'trailblazer,' I automatically thought of my grandfather and him coming out in the '60s. It's very powerful. I couldn't be more proud of him."

The former Disney princess, who is set to release the music video for her single "Really Don't Care" soon, shot the upbeat record at L.A. Pride. She also flirted with her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama in the video.

Demi Lovato explained, "When I originally wrote it, it was a breakup song," adding, "But now I have sung it so many times that it kind of no longer has a significance in that sort of way. When I sing it, I always want to inspire and empower.

"I thought what other people could relate to really not caring what people think. I thought of bullies and the LGBT community who are constantly scrutinized. What better place is there than L.A. Pride to celebrate who you are and not really caring what people think?"
