Despite reports that Adam Levine had every intention of calling up all of his ex-girlfriends to apologize for his behavior during their respective relationships, apparently that is not the truth.

The Maroon 5 singer recently denied that he was going to apologize to his former loves prior to his July wedding to fiancé Behati Prinsloo.

According to E! News, during an interview with Howard Stern the "Love Somebody" singer said, "I did not say that. That was total fabrication," adding, "I'd like to clear the record right now, I totally did not do that. That was a very surprising thing to have heard come out."

The formerly blonde Adam Levine, who has ditched his light mane to go back to his natural dark locks went on to say, "Completely untrue, completely 100 percent untrue. It sounds like a fantastic idea, and that was what was so weird about it too, the angle on it was that it wasn't totally cool to have done that. I kinda wish I had done that. It would've been really nice."

However, the more he thought of the idea of a possible apology, "The Voice" coach quickly came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn't have been the best idea.

Levine explained, "It's so selfish and arrogant to call. 'Sorry, it didn't work out between us because you weren't good enough for me.' It's kinda f--ked up to do that actually."

Us Weekly previously reported that the "Begin Again" actor wanted to apologize to his famous exes "for how he treated them."

An insider told E! News at the time that his ex-girlfriend Nina Agdal did receive an email from the singer, insisting that the report is true "as far as Nina is concerned."

Meanwhile, Levine and Prinsloo are set to get married in an intimate ceremony in Mexico on July 19th. The wedding will take place at the Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos.

The hot musician recently did an interview with GQ magazine and defended himself as having a thing for models seeing as his fiancé is the third Victoria's Secret angel that the rocker has dated in five years.

He explained, "I don't date what the person does," adding, "I date the f--king person. You know what I mean? I could have been a zitty teenager and walked into a Tower Records, and we would have talked about Pearl Jam, and we would have fallen in love when we were 15. And that's when you know. It's like, oh, my God, game over."
