Jennifer Love Hewitt Baby, Dating Then Engaged to Brian Hallisay: 'The Client List' Actor Had Paris Hilton as Ex Girlfriend?

Jennifer Love Hewitt's recent double header announcement of her first pregancy and new engagement left many people wandering just who is her intended husband and baby father, Brian Hallisay.

The "Client List" actor, 34,  is not only Hewitt's, also 34, main squeeze and co-star, but he is a rather accomplished Ivy Leager with a strong business background, according to E! Online. He has a lot of brains over brawn and sex appeal.

In fact, he holds a degree in economics and history from Cornell University so numbers and facts are something that he can retain easily.

Hallisay, who grew up in Washington, D.C., used his number-crunching brain power as an investment banker on Wall Street in New York City before becoming an actor. "I was slaving away at that and I had a really good time with it, but it got to the point where I said, 'You know, I had always dreamed of seeing what acting was all about and television," he told Starrymag.com in 2008. "So, I moved out to Los Angeles six years ago and gave it a shot."

And the acting bug bit him and kept coming back for more.

In 2006, the dark-haired thesbian hung out and dated Paris Hilton - but in a movie. He played the socialite's "uptight actor" beau on screen in "Bottoms Up," which was a straight-to-DVD release.

But he rebounded as a "wealthy, high society bachelor" on the short-lived 2008 CW series, "Privileged," with Joanna Garcia. He admitted that wearing tennis outfits was difficult on the show for it was something unfamiliar to him at the time.

Later on, Hallisay met Hewitt on set while filming an unaired TV pilot, "Love Bites" for NBC in 2011, according to Hollywood Life. And the rest is history.

But marrying the sexy starlet is not his only dream. Hewitt's husband-to-be dreams of being Lebron James, saying "it would be fascinating to have that much talent for one day."

And he might want to even live near the ocean if he could. "When I am not in Hollywood working, I like to stay as close to the ocean as possible," he said. "I go up to Malibu a lot. I like to get in the ocean, run on the beach, run on the stairs, be active, stay outside."

It sounds like Hewitt picked a good one.
