Elie Saab Turns on the Heat at Paris Fashion Week [PHOTOS]

Elie Saab, the Lebanese fashion designer, certainly knows how to steal hearts on the runway. Showcasing his Fall/Winter RTW collection at the Paris Fashion Week, March 6, Saab made sure the upcoming season belonged to him.

The designer showcased some of the most elegant designs of the season and even managed to beat some fellow designers hollow. The show was set on a blue ramp and background that lent an angelic aura to the designs and models strutted down the runway in pieces that can be only described as heavenly.

The collection featured figure hugging dresses as well as loose flowing creations that were aggressive and feminine at the same time. The figure hugging dresses featured zipper details and slim belts.

A formal dress that stole our hearts was a navy blue outfit with a black top paired with a navy blazer. The design was simple and elegant and the color complimented the look perfectly.

Saab's color palette this season was dominated by blue. He combined and created unique shades for his designs. Other dresses that were welcomed with a warm heart were a black dress with a mesh like top and an ensemble of a top and trousers with a similar design.

When a model walked down the ramp dressed in a blue body sculpted dress clinched with a golden belt, we couldn't help but think of singer/designer Victoria Beckham who is known for such designs.

Saab's collection also featured stylish pants paired with dark colored sheer tops.

Adding color to his collection and the gloomy season, the designer also showcased dresses in yellow and purple and some of the pieces swore by the peplum trend.

Saab's work with lace deserves to be applauded. We couldn't take our eyes off a few pieces that featured intricate lace works, which brought out a dreamy femininity in the creations.

Saab has an enviable clientele that includes royals like Princess Beatrice of York, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and Queen Rania of Jordan and Hollywood A-listers like Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Sandra Bullock and Beyonce. We wonder how impatiently they must be waiting to get hold of these creations. At least we are.
