Celebs Prove their Brand Loyalty on the Red Carpet

Celebs get an entire year to plan their outfits, makeup and hairstyles for the Academy Awards. But the question is how many of them have to agonise on which brand, designer to wear. And like we noticed this Oscars, they don't really require the time. Wonder why? It's easy... they just wear the brand they endorse.

Jennifer Lawrence has been roped in as the new face of Miss Dior, so no points for guessing what she wore. Lawrence, who has almost continuously been seen in Dior dresses, donned a flamboyant pale colored gown with a train from Dior for the Academy Awards.

"I knew it was the one," the 22-year-old told WWD. "I mean, we had to take like six inches off the train because it was a little ridiculous, and it still is ridiculous, but I love it."

Just that Lawrence and Dior dresses seem to have a different kind of equation. When she donned another creation by the brand during the SAG Awards, it looked like her dress had ripped though Dior refused to accept that it was a malfunction. During the Oscars, the actress didn't suffer a wardrobe malfunction but tripped on the dress while walking up the stage to receive her award.

Another star who proved her love for Dior was actress Charlize Theron who has been the face of the brand's fragrance for almost a decade. Theron looked stunning in a white peplum Dior gown as she confidently sported her super short hair.

Marion Cotillard, also a Dior ambassador, has appeared in the brand's dresses on numerous red carpet events.

Apart from stars who endorse brands, various other celebs showed off their love for industry giants.

Reese Witherspoon once again proved her love for Louis Vuitton dressed in a blue dress and even sported jewelry by the brand. The actress is often seen in Louis Vuitton creations be it formal or casual wear.

While some stars made predictable choices, some of them shocked us as they gave up their favorite designers and went for other brands. Anne Hathaway for one left behind her favorite Valentino and chose to wear Prada instead.

Delighted with her pale pink Prada gown, Hathaway told WWD, "I loved the simplicity of it. And this sounds weird, but I'm 30 and I feel 30 in this, And that's a very positive thing. I feel lucky - to be wearing it."

We wonder if the Oscar winner still feels lucky after critics slammed her for her dress and she even became the butt of jokes as onlookers seemed to notice the actress' nipples more than the dress.

Actress Kristen Stewart seems to be obsesses with Zuhair Murad dresses during the promotions for "Breaking Dawn Part 2" and we expected to see her in another sheer design by Murad but the actress stepped onto the red carpet in a Reem Acra gown.
