Tom Odell and Taylor Swift? New British musician boyfriend speculation for Swift after BRIT Awards [VIDEO]

Taylor Swift is 'on to the next one.' The 23-year-old county-pop singer has reportedly been spotted with a new British musician, Tom Odell, who took home the Critic's Choice Award at the BRIT Awards and was seen flirting with Swift backstage.

The two were then seen the next evening on what seemed to be a date at a Hackney, East London pub Thurday. Swift, who performed her single, "I Knew You Were Trouble," at the BRIT Awards was under an intense media spotlight for the performance, which is supposidely directed at ex-boyfriend and One Direction singer Harry Styles. The 19-year-old, however, looked calm and collect during the song and even complimented her, saying it was great.

The interaction between Odell and Swift isn't the first they've had. On Twitter, Odell posted a video with the message, "here's my cover of Miss Swift's 'I knew you were trouble' for @BBCR1 live lounge https://bit.ly/10nHfUE  XX," to which Swift replied, " So I was already a @tompeterodell superfan... Now I'm just floored. This is so good. https://bit.ly/10nHfUE."

Odell then messaged Swift back saying "yesssssssss pleased you like it.. xx"

Odell is set to release his long anticipated debut album, Long Way Down, on April 15. He is a singer-songwriter from Chichester, England and is signed to Columbia Records. He studied at the Brighton Institue of Modern Music and when asked of his artistry influences, has said "I grew up listening to Elton John. One of the first albums I listened to was Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (1973). I am a huge Elton John fan." He has also acknowledged the works of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Leon Russell and Bruce Springsteen as influences.

What do you think of Odell's cover? Did Swift really like it because it was another good looking guy swooing her with a rendition of a song she wrote about an ex? Do you think all of the music she makes is directed at her ex boyfriends or is she just a passionate songwriter who uses her life experiences as a way to relate to her fans?
