Jennifer Lopez to the Rescue, Stops Prankster from Ruining Adele’s Grammy Acceptance Speech

Singer and Grammy presenter Jennifer Lopez saved the day for Adele when she stopped a prankster from ruining the singer's acceptance speech during the Grammy Awards ceremony, Feb.10. The mischief maker has now been jailed for gate crashing the event.

When Adele walked on stage to accept her award for Best Solo Pop performance, Ukrainian TV personality and serial celebrity prankster Vitalii Sediuk rushed to join her.

"It's such an honor to receive this award," Sediuk was heard saying when he walked up to Adele, according to nydailynews. "I love you, Adele," he added.

But Lopez wasn't in a mood for any mischief and waved the prankster away. With no choice left Sediuk exited the stage. The 24-year-old songstress pretended to be unfazed as she accepted the award from Pitbull but seeing the prankster leave, thanked Lopez calling the presenter her "good luck charm."

Soon after Sediuk was arrested and wound up in jail for the rest of the night. He is now scheduled to appear in court, March 4. But he didn't seem one bit repentant of his actions. Instead he thought it was funny.

"My channel didn't get credentialed, so I went with friends who had tickets," Sediuk told The Hollywood Reporter. "They didn't check how many we had, so I was let in. They checked my pockets but never asked to see a ticket."

He said he understood that people didn't appreciate his actions and some even found it annoying. "My purpose is to entertain and to show a different emotion of celebrities. I'm not a crazy guy, I just think differently," he said defending himself.

But Sediuk being jailed must have immensely pleased actor/rapper Will Smith who slapped the trouble maker for trying to kiss him during the promotion event of the film, "Men in Black 3."

Madonna too might be rejoicing as Sediuk annoyed her in 2011 when he showered her with hydrangeas which she is allergic to.
