Beyonce Graces the Cover of Vogue, Opens up about Motherhood and Blue Ivy

Just when we thought Beyonce couldn't get any hotter than she already is, the star has managed to charm her way into our hearts with her Vogue cover. Gracing the March 2013 issue, Beyonce breaks all inhibitions and goes on a confession spree about her one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and the upcoming HBO documentary.

Talking to Vogue's Jason Gay, the singer puts to rest rumors regarding surrogacy that has been doing the rounds. She opens up about her toddler Blue Ivy. Beyonce explained how giving birth was a wonderful experience, calling it "the best day of my life."

"I felt very maternal around eight months, and I thought I couldn't become any more until I saw the baby. But it happened during my labor because I had a very strong connection with my child. I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door," she recalls. "And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn't think about my own pain. . . . We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication." She also describes the toddler as her best friend.

The singer welled up talking about the HBO Documentary that chronicles her life as a recording artist, performer and a mother. Beyonce describes how the film that releases Feb. 16, is very special to her.

"This movie has healed me in so many ways," she says. "It makes me want to cry. I'm very passionate about it, and it just feels good.

The cover picture shows the "Single Ladies" hit maker dressed in a black and white outfit that perfectly complements her skin tone. With her hair in an elegant up do, the singer's fringe lends her a glamorous look.

In a tantalizing spread of pictures, the 31-year-old is seen in a red ruffled dress lying on a chaise lounge looking peaceful and dreamy. She turns up the temperature when she shows off her famous curves in a floral fifties-style bra and high waist panties worn under a flowing dramatic kimono in the same print.
