Jennifer Lopez Strikes an Angelina Jolie Pose at the Grammy Red Carpet

Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez followed in the footsteps of actress Angelina Jolie by striking Jolie's Oscar pose during the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, Feb. 10.

Dressed in a long floor sweeping one shoulder Anthony Vaccarello gown, JLo stuck out her right leg and flaunted her svelte figure.

"This is on the cusp of pushing the limit on the Grammys!" television host Ryan Seacrest told JLo referring to the memo released by CBS banning any kind of skin show, according to USA Today. "They said nothing about the legs!" replied the singer. "I thought I was being such a good girl! A little shoulder and a little leg."

The 43-year-old created a stir a few years ago when she attended the Grammy Awards dressed in a gown with a neckline that was till her naval. Referring to that outfit, JLo joked, "As you can see, I read the memo," to which Pitbull replied, "You inspired the memo!"

JLo's pose is now being compared to Jolie's famous Oscar leg display that attracted a lot of criticism. Not only did fans make fun of the "Salt" actress, comedian and actor Jim Rash mocked her striking a similar pose when he came up on stage during the event.

So popular was Jolie's pose that a new Twitter page "@AngiesRightLeg" immediately popped up dedicated to it.

While JLo was mocked for her pose, singer Adele too raised some eyebrows when she hit the red carpet in a frumpy looking red and black frock. She adhered to the dress code but her outfit didn't really garner much appreciation with users on Twitter calling it a tablecloth and curtains, according to the Daily Mail.

"Is Adele wearing her Mums curtains as a dress? #VoiceOfAnAngel #DressBelongsOnATable #grammys," a user tweeted. "Apparently Adele's dress was inspired by a couch from the 1970's...#eredcarpet," said another user.
