Eminem to Release Next Album Post-Memorial Day

Eminem is gearing up to release his eighth studio album that is due after Memorial Day and the rapper is busy recording his new songs. Though the exact date hasn't been revealed, the yet to be titled album is sure to come out this year.

"We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He's been working on it for some time," Shady Records' president, Paul Rosenberg told Billboard. "It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when. We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up."

This is the first album the rapper will be releasing since he topped charts with "Hell: The Sequel," his project with Royce da 5'9".

Shady Records also intends to release Yelawolf's album, which the rapper has begun recording in Nashville and fans will also be treated to 50 Cent's much awaited fifth studio album, "Street King Immortal," in the first half of this year.

The album that was initially slated for a 2011 release was pushed back due to disagreements between the rapper and Interscope. Its date was often revised after the conflict, which even led to its brief cancellation.

While Eminem stayed out of news for most of 2012, daughter Hailie Mathers created a buzz with her Twitter post where she criticized singer Taylor Swift for dating "One Direction" member, Harry Styles. An account, @hailiejade_x, reportedly run by Mathers carried a string of messages declaring her dislike for Swift.

"If @taylorswift13 is really dating the love of my life Harry_Styles i will not be happy," she said. @hailiejade_x later tweeted, "Dear @taylorswift13, please stop whoring around with every guy you see. We all know you're only doing it so you can make another album."
