After Jason Trawick called off his engagement to Britney Spears, people close to the pop princess were apprehensive of how she would take the news. But if Britney's latest photos are any indication, she is doing rather well.
On Saturday, Britney was seen heading to a Los Angeles hotel with a pal, and she decided to vamp up the outing in a dress that showed a lot more than her side boobs. The "Scream and Shout" singer seemed to be aware of how much skin she was flashing, as she tried to cover up with a gray shawl.
She teamed the light pink slinky dress with brown boots, aviators and minimal make-up. She also decided to leave her engagement ring behind or maybe she has already returned the ring to Trawick. The three carat diamond ring is a Niel Lane design and cost about $90,000.
The couple announced the split last week, but the couple refrained from giving any reason for the split. In a statement issued to Us Weekly, Britney said: "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."
Trawick, added, "As this chapter ends for us, a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
However, sources close to Trawick said being there for Britney round-the-clock was taking a toll on Trawick, who was also her co-conservator. "It has really been in motion awhile. Jason has been very stressed and concerned for Britney and what she might do if he left," an insider told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. "He is worried about her and really loved her, but it started to take a real toll on him. The burden of taking care instead of a partnership where she also takes care."
