The fashion industry is now in its full swing as it slowly adapts to the new normal.

Major cities like Berlin, Copenhagen, and Paris have successfully hosted socially distanced fashion shows featuring sought-after designers and jaw-dropping virtual presentations.

New York Fashion Week recently introduced the creme de la creme of the designer's Autumn/Winter 2021 collection.

Interestingly, this will be the second time that NYFW did a virtual show amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The highly-anticipated fashion show began on February 14 with the Taiwanese-Canadian designer Jason Wu kicking off the season with his nostalgic American vibes.

Moreover, New York Fashion Week's Autumn/Winter 2021 also featured several brands and fashion designers, including Alice + Olivia, Veronica Beard, Markarian, Badgley Mischka, Anna Sui, Tadashi Shoji, Monse, Adeam, Bibhu Mohapatra, Nicole Miller, Victor Glemaud, and many more.

Aside from the creative garments and scene-stealer designer pieces, the recent fashion event also showcased major hair inspirations that we might see on social media in the next coming months.

With that said, here are the biggest hair trends that will dominate 2021, as seen on New York Fashion Week's Autumn/Winter 21

Anna Sui's Psychedelic '60s Style

Another rising hair trend for 2021 is the modern blunt bob, also known as the boyfriend bob. It echoed the designer Sarah Staudinger's A/W 2021, which she described as a "sanctuary"--an inspiration she got from her childhood self that exudes function and fun. The modern blunt bob featured a stylish yet effortless hair trend, making it the perfect go-to hairstyle this year.

Fashion aficionados witness Prabal Gurung's edgy vibe while models walk with ultra-long braids and in vibrant gowns and polka dot print dresses.

The Cut cited that hairstylist, Evanie Frausto, who is the mastermind behind the looks, created the sleek back braids using Bumble & Bumble, which is considered an elevated everyday hairstyle.
