Andreja Pejic Stars In New Make Up For Ever Campaign, Becomes First Transgender Model To Land A Major Cosmetics Campaign

Andreja Pejic's Make Up For Ever campaign has finally arrived!

News that the 23-year-old model had signed with the beauty brand was announced back in April, but we had to wait until now to see the campaign -- and it does not disappoint. Andreja joins "Sin City" star Jamie Chung, 32, in a series of photos and videos modeling the brand's colorful eyeshadows and lipsticks, including neon blue eyeliner! The campaign slogan is "Be Bold. Be Unexpected. Be You."

While both women look gorgeous, Andreja's spot in the campaign is also history-making: she's the first transgender model to land a major cosmetics campaign. (Lea T previously starred in a campaign for haircare brand Redken, while Jazz Jennings made headlines with her campaign for skincare brand Clean & Clear.)

"I feel like we align so well with what our message is," Andreja told Style.com of Make Up For Ever.

"Personally, I didn't think it would come now, so I just feel very blessed to transition and become a woman and come out publicly and be accepted. I had to go through some trials and tribulations, and it definitely wasn't all easy.

"But to come out on top of it with such a great project, such a great cosmetics contract, it was incredible. And I think it's nice to prove them all wrong. They used to tell me that my career would probably end after I transitioned, and that trans women don't get respected in fashion as models, so it's nice on a lot of levels."
