Zayn Malik's Fiancée Perrie Edwards And Little Mix Group Shut Down Harry Styles

Perrie Edwards may have slammed rumors that she banned fiancé Zayn Malik's friends and former One Direction bandmates from their upcoming nuptials, however, that didn't stop the songstress and the rest of Little Mix from throwing a little shade at Harry Styles in a new interview with Capital FM.

Gossip Cop reports that the band has created quite a stir in the 1D fandom after the girl group played a Tinder game during the interview in which they were asked if they would "swipe left or right" for different celebrities.

The group gave their opinion on the likes of Ne-Yo and Jason Derulo, however, perhaps the most interesting answer was in regards to Malik's former bandmate, Styles, to which Jesy Nelson swiftly replies, "Oh, I'm gonna have to go to the left."

Edwards echoed her bandmate's opinion, agreeing that she would still "go left" even though the situation was "hypothetical," to which the rest of the group agreed.

When asked why the group was so adamant about swiping left on Styles, member Leigh-Anne Pinnock adds, "I'm going to take Taylor's advice and go left," referring to Taylor Swift who famously dated Styles for a few months in 2012.

Naturally, the group's comments have caused an uproar within the 1D fandom, with many fans blasting the girl group on Twitter for dissing Styles and causing "Little Mix" to trend worldwide on the social media site early Sunday morning.

To make things more interesting, Swift fans have also gotten in on the action, defending the "Blank Space" singer who they feel was unjustly dragged into the One Direction / Little Mix / Zayn Malik debate.

The shade comes only weeks after Malik announced his permanent departure from the pop group, revealing to fans that the pressure of fame was causing him stress. Rumors at the time suggested that it was Malik's fiancée, Edwards, who asked him to leave the group after a string of cheating scandals plagued the couple in March, however, the reports have been denied by Edwards' and Malik's reps.
