'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Script Gets Stolen

A "critical" page from the script of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" has been stolen, reports TMZ.

The script, which contains the scene explaining how Naomi Grossman's Pepper ended up in Briarcliff Manor in the show's second season, "Asylum" was reportedly knicked. It is believed that one of the actors left part of the script while filming in New Orleans and someone took the copy.

The show's producers, 20th Century Fox TV, has confirmed the incident and released a statement saying: "The theft and unauthorized distribution of our scripts is a very serious matter and we will take all appropriate steps necessary to vigorously protect our intellectual property."

The news comes after the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed that all seasons of "American Horror Story" are connected, according to Huffington Post.

Grossman's character is the first to crossover "AHS" worlds. This season is set in 1952 in Jupiter, Fl where one of the last freak shows in America was staged. The story is set a few years before Pepper is taken to an asylum for cutting off her niece's ears and drowning her.

Lily Rabe is also set to reprise her "Asylum" character Sister Mary in this season, says Entertainment Tonight. Sister Mary's return to "AHS" will reportedly help explain how Pepper gets institutionalized. She will be featured on the show's tenth episode.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in October, Murphy confirmed fan theories that all stories from the anthology series are connected, saying: "We're just beginning to tell you how they're connected. They're all very separate but there's clues every season that we're now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined."

He added, "Part of the fun of the show is the Rubik's cube design of it, but, yes, there are purposeful connections, character connections, and similarities and things that connect that we'll continue to connect moving forward."

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" airs Wednesdays, 10 pm on FX.
