Throwback Thursday: Classic Beauty, Sharon Stone

This week we honor Sharon Stone as our Thursday Throwback.

This actress is a definite rebel, going against the grain on both the silver screen, the red carpet, and with her beauty regime. Who can forget her racy role in Basic Instinct as a femme fatale, or her Academy Award Nominated performance in Casino?

We love this Hollywood A-lister for her acting chops and her charm. Clearly confident and owning every minute of it, the star is well into her fifties and aging with a beauty philosophy that keeps getting younger.

While Stone is a lover of all things beauty, the actress is still very much a rebel in her own right. Can you believe she cuts her own hair most of the time?! And get this, Sharon Stone is not at all into the quintessential Hollywood beauty treatment -- the facial. "No! I don't like people to push and pick at my face," she once told Harper's Bazaar.

Stone has also recently made new headlines. Not going under the knife has made the actress a magnet for the media to comment on the craze to look young forever in the entertainment industry.

"If you want to have plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery, live it up; go ahead and have it. But if you don't want to have it, don't have it," Stone said definitively.

Gotta love a woman whose secure with herself. But even the most bold and beautiful star has her moments of uncertainty.

"Sometimes I literally have to sit down and look at myself and say, 'You are a lot older, and you look completely different.' You can't just keep doing the same hairdo or the same makeup and the same jewelry and the same look. You have to face the face that you have. I'm not the 32-year-old pretty girl from Basic Instinct."

But that doesn't mean that Sharon will be getting any work done anytime soon.

"All these people who keep saying they gave it to me - well, I must never get out of the operating room! How about I happen to be fine and you have not sliced me? It seems to be unfathomable to people that I just happen to look good. I am totally capable of accepting myself."

Here, here Sharon! Check out the clip below to get a few more memorable quotes and anti-agig wisdom from the star and let us know what you think!
