'American Horror Story: Freak Show' First Five Episode Titles Revealed, James Franco To Join The Cast?

Titles for the first five episodes of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" have recently been revealed, and they hinted at new plot details about the upcoming installment of the hit FX horror anthology series.

The premiere episode is titled "Monsters Among Us," according to Spoiler TV.

It is said to focus on Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange), a German expat who manages one of the last remaining freak shows in the country, as she scouts for new extraordinary individuals to join her show, Christian Today reported.

The second episode is called "Massacres and Matinees," which hints that deaths may be witnessed too soon next season. The mystery that will be addressed throughout the season is believed to be introduced in this episode, according to Christian Today.

The third and fourth episodes are titled "Edward Mordrake, Pt. 1" and "Edward Mordrake, Pt. 2," which obviously would tell the story of Edward Mordrake. Edward Mordrake was the name given to an apocryphal 19th-century heir to one of the noblest peerages in England. He reportedly had an extra face on the back of his head.

Though the additional face could neither eat nor speak out loud, it was described as being able to laugh and cry. Mordrake reportedly urged doctors to have his "demon face" removed, claiming that it whispered to him at night. However, no doctor attempted to remove his extra face until he committed suicide at the age of 23, according to George Milbry Gould's book "Anomalies and Curiosities of Medicine"

No details are out yet about the show's fifth episode but it is titled "Pink Cupcakes."

Meanwhile, fans of James Franco were overjoyed when the 36-year-old actor posted a photo of "American Horror Story" actress Emma Roberts on his Instagram account.

"American Horror Story! (What a good co-star. She's the effin' BEST!) @emmaroberts," the "Spring Breakers" star captioned the photograph, making several people on the image-sharing site believed that he, too, was joining the cast of Emmy-winning show.

Sadly, Franco is just pulling tricks on his fans. Roberts was really Franco's co-star, but not in "American Horror Story." Both actors are starring in the upcoming movie "Michael," Hollywood Life reported.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" premieres Wednesday, Oct. 8 on FX.
