After her inaugural collection with Ann Taylor, Kate Hudson is spreading her fashion wings for a second time.

The actress, 33, is designing a new athletic line with JustFab, a subscription e-commerce site, according to Women's Wear Daily. Though Hudson's first fashion offering is only two months old, her latest fashion collaboration, Fabletics had been in the works for a while and launches in October.

Hudson explained just what kind of woman is perfect to wear her apparel. "I co-created Fabletics with [JustFab co-chief executive officers] Don [Ressler] and Adam [Goldenberg] to offer busy women quality activewear that is fashionable, functional and affordable," Goldie Hawn's daughter explained of the new gear. "I've always lived an active lifestyle, and with two boys, life has only gotten busier."

The range will include tops, bottoms, jackets and accessories geared for exercise, but still cute and chic. She drew on her own experiences as a career mom in crafting the pieces.

"As a working mom, I know what it's like to be on the go and running around from one activity to the next," she further explained. "Sometimes you just don't have time to change, but you still want to look cute, whether you're taking a yoga class, running errands or meeting up with friends before you pick the kids up from school."

Hudson picked an impressive brand to collaborate with in her first foray into sports and workout wear. JustFab has just added athletic apparel to their roster including handbags, jewelry and footwear. And according to the company, they expect sales and grossings in the $250 million tier in 2013, reported Fashionista.

Ressler, JustFab's co-chief executive officers, said that Hudson has taken, well, an "active" role in designing. "Kate has been an integral part of developing this brand for the modern woman who likes to stay active and look great while doing it because she is that woman," he said.
