Katy Perry  just made her Vogue debut as their July cover girl, dressed up in vibrant, yet elegant frocks in a complete contrast to her everyday rocker girl ensembles. For the photos from her shoot, click HERE.

The pop princess, 28, rocked a stunning red lace Valentino Haute Couture gown, complete with "long sheer sleeves, a high neckline and a tight bodice" with vintage appeal, according to Hollywood Life. 

She also donned a floral and flowing Dolce & Gabbana dress with a Patricia Underwood straw hat in a farm scene.

In another look, Perry, who revealed to the world that she died her hair black since the age of 15 after chopping it off and having been a blonde, wore a charcoal Shetland wool sweater, red leather skirt and belt by Prada with black Repetto ballet flats.

She loves florals, bold orange nail polish and driving like James Bond, according to Vogue. She is very much a girly-girl while being a multi-faceted entertainer, who makes sweet music in the face of her own doubts.

"Of course, I get fazed," she said in the "Beauty and the Beat" interview. "And when I am in between records, sometimes I doubt myself. I'll be like: Did I just get lucky, or did I mass-manipulate the world into thinking that seven songs were worth a number-one position? And then I go back in the studio and I start writing, and the true essential oil of who I am comes bubbling back up and reminds me that's its always been inside of me, that nobody can take this away no matter what comment anyone makes."

The world has had much to say about Perry, especially on her divorce to Russell Brand.

But she only remembered their good times and why she fell head over heels in love with her  former "magical man." "He's a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him." 

Then, she dropped a bomb. "Lets just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me on December 31, 2011." 

Just like every women left to mend the pieces of a broken heart, Perry had to come to terms with the relationship's end while putting things in their proper perspective. "I let go and I was like: This [divorce] isn't because of me; this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that."

She did rebound with John Mayer for a period of time, having said their romance is now over.

"I believe that I will be loved again, in the right way," she added. "I know I'm worth it."
