In an interesting twist, notorious bad girl Lindsay Lohan is staying at the same rehab center, California's Betty Ford Center, where Charlie Sheen's ex-wirfe Brooke Mueller is getting professional help.
Supposedly, the coincidental pairing is a "good thing," said Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan to Radar Online. "Maybe they will learn something from each other," he said about the twosome doing time together. "Hopefully what they learn is that going to the same old rehab program doesn't work."
But how could this unlikely pairing but a good thing? Well, Mueller, 35, is doing time for the 20th time in rehab according to Radar. Lohan, 26, has also had multiple rehab trips though Lohan's treatment stints seem to be more highly publicized than Mueller. And the fact that they are both serious offenders provides a common ground and conversion starter for the twosome.
But Lohan's dad says the constant back-and-forth is not working for his daughter. "It's repetitous, pointless and senseless and doesn't accomplish anything," he said. "I've said it a hundred times Lindsay, let alone anybody, doesn't need to go through a 30 day program 23 or even 4 times. It's too redundant."
What is also redundant is Mueller's weird behaviors, which the latest one got her placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold and hospitalized recently, according to TMZ.
The allegedly out-of-her-mind mother of twins with Sheen ranted about supposed mafia connections at her Los Angeles home after police responded to a call from a man claiming she had assaulted him. She also said that she had been in constant contact with the FBI about "bringing her ex Sheen down."
Reportedly, Mueller was under the influence of Adderall - the same drug that Lohan uses to treat her ADHD.
