Neiman Marcus has unveiled its Art of Fashion Campaign for Spring 2013 and announced Walter Chin as the photographer. The campaign boasts of 22 images of spring fashions, which will appear in the March edition of the Neiman Marcus publication.

"The Neiman Marcus Spring 2013 Art of Fashion campaign and the March issue of the book, share the same theme - the art of imagination," said Eddie Nunns, vice president, Neiman Marcus Brand Creative in a press statement, Feb. 5. "Walter Chin 's inimitable creativity reinforces that theme as he let his imagination loose to showcase our spring collection in a modern way."

The Art of Fashion campaign that started almost 20 years ago was a ground-breaking step as it specifically featured cutting-edge fashion and provocative photography.

The Jamaican born and Toronto raised Chin has a specialization in contemporary painting and a  master's degree in photography. Fashion photography, celebrity portraits and advertising campaigns are his specialty and he has lent his talents to the ad campaigns of various brands like Hermes, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger , Missoni and Lancome.

This project offers the photographer an opportunity to blend the commercial and the personal sensibilities and create images he describes as "whimsical, graphic, and simple."

Neiman Marcus' Art of Fashion Campaign is a well known promotion in the industry and has featured various designer merchandise by industry giants like Chanel, Lanvin Paris, Alexander McQueen , Christian Dior, Valentino, Oscar De La Renta , Prada, Tom Ford , Stella McCartney, Manolo Blahnik , Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin .
