Nicki Minaj's 2022 Met Gala look made her realize it was time for a change.

Reflecting on her fashion journey in a new Vogue "Life in Looks" video, the 41-year-old rapper candidly disclosed that her attire, a Burberry ensemble comprising a cleavage-enhancing bustier, leather pants, and an elaborate ruffled train, solidified her resolve to undergo a breast reduction.

Minaj recalled expressing concern about her chest during her pre-red carpet fittings, saying, "I loved what the outfit was giving, but I said, 'You guys, look, these boobs are going to be spilling out.'"

The rapper recounted supermodel Naomi Campbell giving her an encouraging nod at the time, signaling it was time to step onto the red carpet.

"I knew before we even left the room that the boobs were about to have a night of their own," Minaj humorously added.

The "Barbie World" hitmaker told Vogue in her November cover story that she recently underwent a breast reduction.

Minaj also opened up about her past plastic surgery decisions on "The Run-Through with Vogue" podcast.

Reflecting on her transformation, she warned those who may be considering going under the knife that there's a possibility they may regret the decision in the future -- which she said happened to her.

"I could not believe even some of the photos that I didn’t love," Minaj said.

The musician highlighted the transformative impact of motherhood, attributing the shift in self-perception to the birth of her now 3-year-old son, affectionately known as "Papa Bear."

"I think pregnancy could’ve played a role because seeing my son did remind me of myself so much. My real self," Minaj shared.

Minaj also said she developed a newfound appreciation for her past snaps, sharing, "But seeing old photos, being able to look at old photos again made me realize, 'These old photos are beautiful.'"
