Gap's "Icon Redefined" Fall 2012 collection features mix of musicians and dancers wearing Gap's signature designs, with new modern designs and fall colors.

The new Gap campaign includes Avett Brothers, American pop duo Karmin, Musician Lia Ices, dancer Lil Buck, songwriter Nicki Bluhm, musician Kaki King and ballet dancer Yuan Yuan Tan. Each Gap's campaign cast member was photographed while performing.

"Gap's fall collection clearly reflects our casual, American style through modern interpretations of our iconic classics that customers can really make their own," said Seth Farbman, Gap's Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Gap will showcase each musician through social media with: inspirational YouTube videos, Facebook how-to tutorials, and style tips through Foursquare.

Musician Nicki Bluhm was recently asked by fashionista how she view the relationship between fashion and music for the Gap campaign? She responded: "I was thrilled about the Gap stuff, because they are known for the super staple stuff - When you're on the road touring and in a van there isn't much space for wardrobe, so the pieces that you pack are critical," said Bluhm.

Nicky find comfort in fashion that has not only style but usefulness, "I love the 1969 range; it's a cross between fashion and function, which is perfect for me on the road. The goal is not to look like I've been in a van for three weeks." Nicky's style is "jeans, boots and button ups." stating "I guess you could call me a urban cowgirl."

Customers can follow the musical cast via Gap's Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Foursquare and Pintrest.
