Wondering what's trending in plastic surgery this year? Look behind you...

From 2014's Butt Lift, to 2015's Tummy Tuck, we're told Brazilian procedures are still gonna be big business. And one of the top New York's plastic surgeons has predicted the most-wanted treatments for the year ahead.

Last year, the demand for a particular cosmetic procedure soared by an amazing 58% in the US, influenced by the curves of some of our shapeliest celebrities. Can you guess what this procedure is? No, it wasn't boob jobs which were rising fast, but none other than Brazilian butt lifts.

The Brazilian butt lift a procedure which sculpts and lifts the buttocks. Stars like The Hills' Heidi Montag have admittedly had one, while Kim K is still notoriously rumored to have undergone the procedure in the run up to her wedding to Kanye. And gym squats aside, Kim's sister Khloe is thought to have had one too.

If you're thinking of having a body makeover this year, then it's not just Brazilian Butt Lifts which are going to be, well, big in 2015. Dr. Spero Theodorou of bodySCULPT explained why the Brazilian Butt Lift is still so in-demand, and which procedures will be popular this year.

"The reason the butt lift gives such a good shape is because as well as the augmentation of the buttocks, we also remove unwanted fat around the waist and love handles, which accentuates the curves and frames the buttocks better," the expert explained.

And if you're already planning how to look your best in a bikini this summer, Dr. Theodorou predicts that the Brazilian tummy tuck is going to be big for 2015 too. "This particular procedure offers several new advantages over old types of tummy tuck," the surgeon said.

"One is that the scar is much further below the waist, which means you can wear a lower-cut bikini. The waist itself is pulled in thanks to the removal of excess skin, and laser lipo makes it seem even smaller."

The updated tummy tuck also has a rejuvenating effect on the pubic area Dr. Theodorou noted, which tends to drop with age. Perhaps most importantly, recovery time is only 10 days, compared with two weeks via the old procedure.

Dr. Theodorou also predicts two more procedures will grow in popularity this year. One focuses on the upper arms, sculpting them with laser-associated liposuction to make them look smoother and slimmer, ideal for strapless and sleeveless tops.

And finally, composite breast augmentation is another procedure set to become a big new trend. "This is a blend of using an implant combined with body fat to give a natural look," Dr. Theodorou explained.

"By removing the fat from the waist, not only does it make the waist look slimmer, but when the fat is added on top of an implant, it makes the breasts look perkier and more natural."
