Justin Bieber lashed out at photographers on Twitter Tuesday, Aug.26, shortly after a minor car accident involving a paparazzo left his sports car scratched.

The 20-year-old Canadian singer was driving his red Ferrari in West Hollywood early Tuesday afternoon when he noticed a photographer following him in a Prius. Sources told TMZ that the "As Long As You Love Me" singer was so annoyed that he decided to slam on his brakes. The Prius, however, was not able to stop quickly enough, hitting and scratching the rear of the singer's luxury vehicle.

Bieber and the photographer were not harmed in the incident, but the pop star was so pissed with it, that he even compared the mishap to the 1997 crash in Paris that killed the Princes Diana.

"There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana," posted Selena Gomez's on-off boyfriend on Twitter.

"I don't have a problem with paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger," wrote Bieber in a follow-up post.

Authorities are still trying to determine who was at fault in the incident, WENN reported.

Last year, a photographer was struck and killed by another car while taking photos of Bieber's Ferrari, Guardian Liberty Voice noted.

Bieber is not alone in his frustrations involving paparazzi pursuing celebrities without regard for the safety of others. Kanye West and Miley Cyrus have also been very vocal about how the pressures of paparazzi have negatively affected their lives. In 2011, the "Wrecking Ball" singer has spoken out against photographers when a paparazzo hit her mom with a camera, MTV News reported.

Meanwhile, just last week, Beverly Hills Police warned Justin Bieber not to drive his Can-Am Spyder on the sidewalk ever again.

The singer was caught in a video driving his red three-wheeled motorcycle into Beverly Hills on Aug. 21. And when the traffic became too heavy, he maneuvered his big toy onto the sidewalk almost hitting a pedestrian, TMZ reported.

"We highly encourage Mr. Bieber to stay off the sidewalk and remain in traffic," a spokesperson for the police department told E! News. "This is incredibly unsafe. He's putting other people's safety in jeopardy."
