Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Oprah Interview

Aside from their bombshell interview, Meghan Markle's dress caught the viewers' attention as she was seen donning a spring-ready outfit.

According to Page Six, the former "Suits" star wears a $4,700 black Armani silk wrap dress that features a contrasting white printed detail and a high-waist belt.

The 39-year-old duchess, who is currently pregnant with her second child, paired it with black Aquazzura pumps that retail for $695.

As for her accessories, she opted for simple jewels that include a $6,550 Cartier Love bracelet and a diamond bracelet that is believed to have belonged to Princess Diana's collection, as cited by the publication.

Lastly, she finishes off her look with her signature hairstyle--a face-framing low pinned-back chignon, while Meghan Markle's makeup features a subtle, neutral smokey eye, peachy nude lip, and coral-flushed blush.

Meaning Behind Meghan Markle's Dress

While royals are known to send a message through their outfits, it seems like the former actress has adopted this kind of tradition even after stepping back from their roles.

According to Town and Country, there's a hidden meaning behind Meghan Markle's dress during her Oprah interview.

The publication explained that the Armani dress, which has a lotus print on the right side, symbolizes "rebirth and spiritual enlightenment."

"T&C posted a story about the meaning of the flower, pointing out that it is associated with rebirth and spiritual enlightenment. Our piece highlighted the resilience of the flower and its ability to flourish despite seemingly challenging conditions," per the publication.

To recall, the Sussexes have been hounded by the British press with negative publicity, most especially Meghan Markle.

The media labeled her as "Duchess Difficult" due to her "string of demands" and problematic behavior towards palace staff and other members of the royal family.

Meghan Markle's Pregnancy Dress

Apart from Meghan Markle's Oprah interview, the former royal previously appeared wearing a midi dress by Carolina Herrera.

This was when the couple was photographed by their longtime friend, Misan Harriman, as the duo announced Meghan Markle's pregnancy.

Per Harper's Bazaar, her dress also holds a special meaning.

The custom-made dress was designed while she was pregnant with her first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
