Chloë Moretz, actress and star of the hit films CarrieKick-Ass, and Dark Shadows, stepped onto the red carpet of the 2014 Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada in a soft and feminine makeup look created by none other than celeb makeup artist Mai Quynh using NYX Cosmetics.

Moretz wore a black and nude lace frock by Marios Schwab with an embellished neckline and kept her hair simple with an easy ponytail.

"I was inspired by the oyster embellishments on Chloe's dress and wanted her eyes to reflect the same colors. I kept her lips soft and girly like her hairstyle," said Quynh. Here's how Mai created the look:

Complexion

Quynh prepped the makeup look with Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum. She then applied NYX Cosmetics Tinted Moisturizer in Nude ($10) to Moretz's skin, blending it outwards toward her hairline using a damp BeautyBlender sponge. Next, Quynh dotted the brand's Dark Circle Concealer in Light ($6) under Moretz's eyes and around her nose. She then set Moretz's face with NYX's Blotting Powder in Light ($12) using a powder brush.

Cheeks

For the perfect red carpet glow, Quynh swept NYX Cosmetics Baked Blush in Ladylike ($7), a light pink with gold shimmer, to the apples of her cheeks.

Eyes

Inspired by the iridescent colors on Chloe's collar, Quynh applied NYX's Baked Shadow in Vesper ($6), a silvery taupe shade, to Moretz's eyelids, from the lash line to the crease. She then smudged  Baked Shadow in Chance, a violet brown, along her upper and bottom lash line. Quynh rimmed her inner eyes with NYX's Wonder Pencil in Light ($5) to brighten her eyes and make them appear bigger. Finally, she applied two coats of Lush Lashes Mascara in Voluptuous ($7) to her top and bottom lashes.

Lips

Quynh finished the look with NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul ($6), a clean pink shade that complemented her natural and youthful makeup look.
