Is there anything this girl can't do? Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o can now add "Star Wars" to her resumé! Lucasfilm confirmed Monday that Nyong'o and "Game of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie will join "Star Wars: Episode VII."

"I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII," says Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy stated. "It's thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape."

Though it was long rumored Nyong'o would join the cast after a meeting with director JJ Abrams, it is unclear what role she or Christie will take on in the franchise.

The 31 year old star was born in Mexico to Kenyan parents, raised in Kenya, and graduated from the Yale School of Drama. She shot to fame as Patsey in "12 Years A Slave," which won "Best Picture" at the 2014 Academy Awards.

Since then Nyong'o starred in "Non-Stop," and will be heard as Rakcha in the 2015 rendition of "The Jungle Book.

She was also named People magazine's most beautiful person in April.

"It was exciting and just a major, major compliment," Nyong'o explained in a copy of the issue obtained by New York Daily News. "And especially, I was happy for all the girls who would see me on [it] and feel a little more seen."

The face of Lancôme Paris explained beauty was something she battled with growing up.

"Light skin and long, flowing, straight hair," she told People of her early views of beauty. "Subconsciously you start to appreciate those things more than what you possess."

The gorgeous star explained that her mother Dorothy, "Always said I was beautiful, and I finally believed her at some point."

When addressing the best beauty compliment she ever received, Nyong'o revealed it was "When I have been called beautiful with not one drop of makeup on," she told the mag, adding "and also before I comb my hair or put on a pretty dress."

"Happiness is the most important thing," she concluded.

We are sure she is so happy now to be taking on a new role! What do you think of the casting choice? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
