It is definitely time to check yourself when Miley Cyrus says "get it together," and that's what Jennifer Lawrence learned at this year's Academy Awards! Too much fun at Madonna's after party meant bad times for J-Law, and Cyrus was worried about her!

The "American Hustle" star was promoting her latest flick "X-Men: Days of Future Past" when she told the story of the incident.

"I've never gone out after the Golden Globes or Oscars or anything. I'm just so sick of people at that point. But this time I was like I'm going out, and I puked all over," she said on "Late Night."

"I was in such bad condition and I look behind me and Miley Cyrus is there, and is like, 'get it together.'"

We can't imagine how awkward that was, as Lawrence is friends and co-stars with Cyrus' ex Liam Hemsworth. The pair star in "The Hunger Games" movies as best friends Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne.

Lawrence came under fire at the Cannes Film Festival when she made a tasteless rape joke to "Gravity" director Alfonso Cuarón.

"I broke out my rape scream for you!" she exclaimed.

Not good. The backlash commenced and J-Law's PR team has yet to do damage control.

"We know you're always open and honest in interviews, but COME ON, a rape joke?!? We're sure she thought that what was said at the party was private, but even still, that's no excuse for a rape joke!! They're not funny, ever," Perez Hilton said.

Democraticunderground.com agreed, writing, "This time, however, Jen may have unintentionally shown fans a bit too much of her private side. Here's hoping she does some damage control before there's any permanent harm to her career."

Meanwhile, Lawrence's "X-Men" co-stars Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were out promoting their upcoming flick, which hits theaters Friday.
