"Two And A Half Men" will take its final bow in 2015. CBS confirmed at the Upfronts that the sitcom, starring Ashton Kutcher (who replaced Charlie Sheen) and John Cryer, will conclude after 12 seasons.

Nina Tassler of CBS notes the last hoorah will boast a "season-long event much like the last season of How I Met Your Mother, which focused on the events of one weekend in its final episodes."

"[Show creator] Chuck Lorre is creating a season-long event," she explains. "Chuck is very psyched about this, he's got some great ideas and very big surprises."

"We know fans and audiences respond to that and that should really give us a nice boost when we launch our new comedy," Tassler added.

"Two And A Half Men" originally starred the troubled Sheen before his controversial personal choices came to light in 2011. He was fired for bad mouthing Lorre during interviews and found home on FX's "Anger Management."

Jones, who plays Cryer's (Allen) son Jake announced he would not return this year because he was a "paid hypocrite." He called the show "filth" and though apologized became a recurring character before ending his run in 2013. He is now heavily involved with faith and speaking at church.

For these reasons, it does not seem the stars will revive their role for the final season.

Kutcher, who is engaged and expecting a baby with actress Mila Kunis, replaced Uncle Charlie, demanding $700,000 per episode. All cast members have been featured on Forbes' list of TV's highest paid actors.

Lorre has three other comedies to his name, including mega hits "The Big Bang Theory," "Mike and Molly," and new series "Mom."

"Two And A Half Men" will air on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. Keep reading Beauty World News for all Upfronts updates!
