Before gaining a hug fan base once he was cast as Four in the "Divergent" movie, Shailene Woodley's rumored boyfriend Theo James had a brief role in the hit show "Downton Abbey."

When the hot 29-year-old stopped by "Chelsea Lately" on Tuesday he opened up about his sex scene on the PBS series in which he takes Michelle Dockery's character, Lady Mary's virginity during the show's first season in 2010.

Handler said, "I first saw you on Downton Abbey and you had sex with Lady Mary and then you died."

The star who played Kemal Pamuk, left the show after his character died of a heart attack in the midst of love making.

James joked, "We did that method style," adding, "Obviously not the death, but I said that I had to do it full-on and be there in the moment in the castle doing it full penetration."

He added, "It's incredible sex for him to die midway through."

To which Chelsea Handler asked, "Have you ever passed away during sex before?"

The British actor replied with a simple answer, "No."

Theo James is headed for great success as his "Divergent" film has early estimates that are being compared the film the 2008 box office hit movie "Twilight."

To this day Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson remain household names which means James and his costar Shailene Woodley are about to become ridiculously famous when their movie hits theaters on Friday, March 21st.

However, until the box office numbers do the talking, the actor isn't too worried about how the film will affect his life.

He told the talk show host, "I guess you have to think about it, but you never know what's gonna happen with the first one."

James continued, "It could bomb or it could be really successful," adding, "Never count the chickens."
