Not only is Adam Levine sexy and confident but he is courageous for owning his ADHD. The Maroon 5 lead singer recently decided to open up about his struggle with adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

According to Us Weekly, the "Love Somebody" singer who is set to star in a new PSA with the "Own It" campaign opened up about his disorder.

He said, "I like to always make sure that whatever I'm promoting or talking about or discussing at length, is something that I have personal, hands on experience with," adding, "And this is no different than anything else. This is an issue that's very near and dear to my heart."

The 34-year-old who is engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo shows his softer side in the PSA.

He admitted, "When I was first diagnosed with ADHD, it wasn't a surprise because I had difficulty in high school focusing," adding, "And I think now, people notice my ADHD as an adult on a daily basis. When I can't pay attention, I really can't pay attention."

Adam Levine explained, "I like to always make sure that whatever I'm promoting or talking about or discussing at length, is something that I have personal, hands on experience with," adding, "And this is no different than anything else. This is an issue that's very near and dear to my heart."

The Grammy Award winning singer wants to use his celebrity status to help other adults who are unknowingly struggling with the condition.

He confessed, "If somebody approached me and said that anything that I said, helped them figure it out -- or someone came to me and said I need help what do you suggest I do - the first thing I would suggest they do is see somebody,"

He added, "See a doctor about it."

Adam Levine's "Own It" PSA is set to go live on February 24th.
