The cast of the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2" returned to the Atlanta set on Tuesday, February 4th following the tragic death of cast member Philip Seymour Hoffman who played the Head Gamekeeper Plutarch Heavensbee.

Actors Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Julianne Moore were spotted back at work sporting rather somber looks while on location.

According to E! News, a source revealed that not only did the "American Hustle" star appear tired and sad, but she did not interact much with others while outside.

Hemsworth, Moore as well as the rest cast and crew, also looked lost in their thoughts as an eyewitness confessed that Hoffman was supposed to be in the scene being shot that day. A source added that everyone seemed like they had lost a member of their family.

At the time of his death it was revealed that the actor's role in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1" was "substantially complete."

An insider close to the production of the film said that Philip Seymour Hoffman had seven days remaining to shoot "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2."

However, his death "will not affect" the film's scheduled release dates of November 21, 2014, and November 20, 2015, respectively.

Following his tragic passing the director of the movie Francis Lawrence along with author Suzanne Collins, producers Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik and Jennifer Lawrence released a statement on behalf of the cast and crew of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2."

The statement read, "Words cannot convey the devastating loss we all are feeling right now. Philip was a wonderful person and an exceptional talent, and our hearts are breaking. Our deepest thoughts and condolences go out to his family."

Philip Seymour Hoffman made his debut appearance in the franchise's last installment, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
