Terri Apanasewicz, makeup artist to country music star Miranda Lambert, recently dished on the trends she was seeing on the Grammy red carpet, as well as the deets of Lambert's luminous makeup for the special night. Her take on the event can be boiled down into a few simple words: glowing, bold, and nude.

Terri is known for her impressive hair and makeup skills. Her clients include Cindy Crawford, Kate Upton, and several Victoria's Secret Angels! Among the red carpet trends Terri spotted that she thinks we'll be seeing more of this spring:

First and foremost, luminous skin. "Miranda Lambert led the pack for this glowing look, along with supermodel Chrissy Teigen, and soon-to-be new mom Ciara," she explained. And never count crimson out, as the rich shade made its way onto many a lip Sunday night. "Bold red lips were also popular. This trend will never get old," Terri said. "I loved the reds worn by Madonna, Kelly Osborne and Colbie Calliat." And for the trifecta? "Dark eyes and a nude lip are a perfect combo together," Apanasewicz noted. "Taylor Swift and Rita Ora made the contrast of a smoked out eye and a simple pout look amazing."

Terri's makeup for Miranda complimented the star's goregous red Pamela Rolland gown. The singer is looking slimmer than ever, thanks to her self-described "old-fashioned way of losing weight," using a trainer and eating healthy. Lambert was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance, and Best Country Song.

So what was Terri's secret for Miranda's glowing skin the night of the Grammy's? Terri gave us her beauty breakdown.

"Miranda Lambert could attribute her head-turning glow to the new Olay Regenerist Luminous Collection," she explained. Terri used the line on Miranda to prep her skin pre-makeup. The collection includes three new products: The Tone Perfecting Cream ($30), Brightening Cream Cleanser ($10), and Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl ($30). The new Regenerist line works to re-energize skin's appearance and recapture skin's natural luminosity, which was definitely evident in Miranda's skin.

As for the makeup, Terri tells us that Miranda had requested Old Hollywood glam. "I decided to recreate the look with luminous skin and a bold red lip of course," the artist said. "I she used Stila's Lip & Cheek Stain in Passionate ($24) all over Miranda's lips and topped it with Tarte's LipSurgence in Lust ($24)."
