As Lily Collins continues to make a name for herself aside from her famous father Phil Collins and boyfriend Zac Efron, the Lancôme model recently revealed that she almost played Bella Swan from the "Twilight" saga.

According to E! News, the star whose defined eyebrows are famous with a Twitter page told CraveOnline that she auditioned for the "Twilight" role that launched Kristen Stewart into stardom and introduced her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" star explained, "This was many years ago," adding, "I was new on the scene, new at auditioning and it was always kind of this, 'What's going to happen?' everyone in the waiting room waiting for you. One of those anxious days as a young actor."

The actress went on to say, "I remember reading scripts for Beautiful Creatures and all those."

She added, "I think every young actor or actress in Hollywood starts to read some of the same material but I think everything happens for a reason and everyone who gets the roles they get were meant to. I'm a firm believer in that."

Coincidently Collins and Stewart ended up in the same role as both actresses portrayed Snow White in updates of the classic fairytale that premiered within two months of each other.

Prior the release of "Mirror Mirror" at the end of March 2012, Jamie Campbell Bower's ex-girlfriend told E! News, "We've laughed about the fact that people think we're rivals because to us they're so different."

The actress later explained the different sentiment of her film compared to Kristen Stewart's "Snow White and the Huntsman."

She said, "We've always been aware of each other and I'm excited to see what Kristen does...I'm excited for her and vice versa."

Lily Collins also revealed that she had her eye on "The Hunger Games" and it was "definitely" on her mind when casting started for the globally successful film.

However, Zac Efron's rumored girlfriend admitted that she is content with the fact she did not land the role of Ms. Everdeen.

She confessed, "But [Jennifer Lawrence] is just perfect as Katniss and I'm so excited for her and happy for her."

She went on to say, "It's funny because a lot of us are friends so if one of us doesn't get it, a friend gets it and it's nice because everyone can be supportive about it."
