Nine years ago an up and coming leading man, Chris Pine acted alongside one of Hollywood's most in-demand actress at the time, Lindsay Lohan and apparently it was quite an experience.

It has almost been a decade but in the time that has passed the professional careers of the two stars have swapped and the "Star Trek" actor discussed the change in his latest interview.

According to Us Weekly, the actor told The Hollywood Reporter's January 10th issue, "It was a real cyclone of insanity, like being around The Beatles." The 33-year-old actor recalled his experience working with Lohan, 27, on the New Orleans set of their 2006 film, "Just My Luck."

He added, "It was fascinating to watch, and in hindsight it's really a distinct moment in someone's life when you see what's really wonderful about what we get to do and what's really dangerous about it."

The Instagram lover who is notorious for posting raunchy photos was 18-years-old at the time "Just My Luck" was filmed and was hot off the success from her 2004 movie, "Mean Girls."

The natural redhead earned $7.5 million for the film and was already a household name following 2003's "Freaky Friday" and 1998's "The Parent Trap."

However, the actress quickly fell from success following numerous stints in rehab due to her battles with alcoholism and drug abuse.

After attempting to get back on the right path Lindsay Lohan made her return to the big screen in multiple lesser-known films that were typically box office fails.

Chris Pine has since realized that it is easy to fall from grace in the entertainment industry.

He explained, "Hollywood is like living in a weird bubble," adding"A bunch of people take care of you and get you stuff, and you're the center of that little microcosmic world," the action star shared. "You start believing that it is real and ... you deserve it."

One thing the actor thinks he deserves is privacy which is why he refuses to talk about his personal life which includes his girlfriend. Chris Pine told THR, "That's something I don't really want to talk about."

While appearing on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" he told the host what he looks for in a woman. He admitted, "I think anything that any normal man would be looking for: intelligence, beauty and a sense of humor," adding, "You have to be able to carry a conversation after the initial attraction kind of dies down."
