Gisele Bundchen has been named the new ambassador for Pantene!

The super-popular brand released a statement on Friday, announcing the supermodel as their latest face. The 5'11" leggy stunner will be in TV and print advertising, in-store displays, iMedia and public relations outreach starting in January 2014.

Mrs. Tom Brady has been the face of the brand in Brazil since 2007, and swears by its products. "I feel my hair has been through it all - from being styled more than ten times in one day to enjoying the sun and surf with my children - and Pantene has helped to keep it healthy with every wash, no matter what the day may bring," said Gisele in the release. "I love that Pantene not only stands for healthy, strong hair, but also encourages women to give back specifically through a program like Pantene Beautiful Lengths."

Since many women want Gisele's shiny strands, Procter & Gamble believes the beauty and Pantene are a match made in hair heaven.

"Gisele is truly a woman who has it all - not only does she have one of the most iconic heads of hair in the beauty world but she is also a true role model with a huge heart," says Kevin Crociata, Marketing Director of North American Hair Care at Procter & Gamble. "We want to celebrate Gisele not only for her beauty, but also her genuine passion to empower women to be their best selves. Her tremendous career accomplishments, her success as a mother of two wonderful children, and her ongoing philanthropic work are an inspiration for women to be beautiful both inside and out. We are proud to now have her as part of our North American Pantene family."

In working with the hair care company, Gisele can support a good cause, too.

According to the brand's website, Pantene has partnered with the American Cancer Society to create Beautiful Lengths. Under the program, the famous company helps women grow long and beautiful hair, while providing the funds to turn these tresses into free, real-hair wigs for women with cancer. So far, Pantene has donated 24,000 free real-hair wigs to the ACS's wig banks, which "distribute wigs to cancer patients across the country."

Aside from doing such a charitable deed, Gisele joins an impressive family of celebrities that have promoted the brand's products. Ambassadors like Zooey Deschanel and Queen Latifah have sung Pantene's praises.
