Shailene Woodley and Theo James have some intense chemistry onscreen as the play their characters Beatrice and Four in the latest clip of "Divergent."

In the teaser for the highly anticipated movie the pair shares a steamy first kiss after having an intimate chat.

The scene opens up to the two in trademark Dauntless black as Ellie Goulding's song "Dead in the Water" plays, according to E! News.

We then see the 22-year-old staring at her mentor and to which she finally says, "Can I ask you something?"

Curious about her hot mentor's tattoos the 27-year-old British actor responds to her and asks, "Do you want to see it?"

James then takes off his shirt and displays his toned abs and muscular back which features a larger tattoo that Woodley traces with her fingers.

"It's amazing," Tris says as she runs her hand down his back. "The factions, why do you have all of them?"

He responds, "I don't want to be just one thing. I can be. I want to be brave and I want to be selfless, intelligent and honest and kind. Although I am still working on kind."

Four then turns around and the two embrace in a passionate kiss.

"Divergent" follows the story of a dystopian Chicago society that is divided into five factions, each dedicated to a particular virtue of humanity which consists of Candor-Honest, Abnegation-selfless, Dauntless-brave, Amity-Peaceful and Erudite-intelligent.

Once civilians reach 16-years-old they are required to select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives to.

However, Tris is told that her results are inconclusive and make her divergent, which are individuals who do not fit into any society. In turn she must hide who she truly is and find out what makes divergents so dangerous before it's too late.

"Divergent" is the film adaptation of Veronica Roth's bestselling young adult novel of the same name which also stars Maggie Q, Kate Winslet and Miles Teller.

The movie is set to hit theaters on March 21, 2014.
