Kris Jenner reportedly wants her daughter, Kendall Jenner to be the next Selena Gomez. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" matriarch can't wait for her PacSun designer offspring to start a singing career.

According to a Star magazine report, the talk show host, 58, is banking on her 18-year-old daughter becoming a huge pop star like Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend.

It looks like North West's grandmother has reached out to big Hollywood music moguls like Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds to help nurture the teenager's talents. Jenner believes that her second-to-youngest child can replicate her reality TV success in the music world.

If the leggy model finds a second career with music, Jenner thinks she can keep the Kardashian empire alive, reported Hollywood Life.

But at this point, Kylie Jenner's closest sister in age has yet to show her singing abilities to the public. Exactly what the teenager is capable of when it comes to holding a note is unknown, but the magazine reports that she can't really sing.

North West's grandmother doesn't seem to care that her daughter doesn't have the experience or can't belt out a tune. The momager sees the dark-haired designer as successful no matter what.

"Kris isn't concerned about the fact that Kendall can't really sing, and jokes that pop stars lip-sync anyway," said a source close to the family.

Given that Jenner has a lot of connections with people in the music business, it looks like Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian's younger sister has a good chance of reaching superstardom. But don't count on success yet.

The multi-tasking teen thinks her mom, who is Lamar Odom's mother-in-law and Kanye West's future mother-in-law, is crazy for coming up with the music idea.
