Urban Decay took to Facebook to announce the release of their Naked 3 palette recently. Beauty junkies, rejoice!

After months of rumors and gossip, the makeup brand confirmed their newest product launch with a YouTube video. The Urban Decay clip opens with the brand's "Beauty with an Edge" motto flashing across the screen. The rest of the visual shows women painting a colorful mural against a white wall that says "It's Coming...Naked 3." UD doesn't offer much deets, so exactly when they will let the cat out of the bag is anyone's guess.

Without much info, we felt a little beauty investigation was in order.

Several photos of the Naked 3 have surfaced on Reddit, showing the compact's color play. A few of the 12 hues included are "Factory," an opaque brown, and a dark blue called "Mugshot."  The palette also offers other shades like the gold "Trick," a white called "Strange" and several light-to-dark variations of purple.

With such great tints, UD's Naked palettes have been selling out in stores. The products are known for their balanced mix of matte and shimmer shades.

The original Naked palette includes 12 bronze-hued neutrals from champagnes to gunmetal; the product also has a Good Karma Eyeshadow Brush, a cruelty-free tool with flat sides and a rounded tip to blend in shades.  The inaugural $52 compact has warmer tones, as opposed to its sequel, which introduced cooler ones. Naked 2, priced also at $52, has a dozen pigment-rich, taupe shades. The second palette comes with a double-ended Good Karma Shadow/Crease Brush, a vegan tool that is stiff enough for controlled application.

UD is one of our favorite brands (their Revolution Lipstick is a staple in our makeup bags!)  We anxiously await Naked 3, seeing as both the previous palettes have offered gorgeous colors.

Think the brand's forthcoming palette supports their motto, "beauty with an edge?"  Watch the video and tell us your thoughts with a note below!
