Although she is one of the stars of the hit series "The Big Bang Theory" Kaley Cuoco has been making headlines due to her quickie engagement to boyfriend Ryan Sweeting.

After her split from Superman Henry Cavill in mid-July, Kaley Cuoco wasn't sure if she'd ever find love again however, tennis player Ryan Sweeting proved her wrong and proposed to her in September after three months of dating.

The actress gushed over her surprise engagement during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, November 7th.

She said, "I am very, very happy," adding, "Life is so good right now. I cannot even tell you!"

The 27-year-old spoke about how quickly she fell in love. She said, "I had kind of an interesting situation over the summer and I was kind of in a weird place and a very close mutual friend ours said, 'Oh my god, have you met this guy Ryan?'"

She continued, "I was just not in a good place to meet anyone. I said, 'I'm not ready. I'm taking time away from love for a while.' I was very sad. And they said, 'You know, he's coming to town. You've got one day to meet him, have a drink, and meet him.'"

Cuoco admitted, "I was putting it off and really nervous about it and just not wanting to do this.

"And so they gave him my number and he texted me. He was like, 'I'm coming to L.A.' I'm like, 'Oh my god, so now I have to see this guy? Do I have to hang out with him all weekend? Is he going to be here for, like, days?'"

The starlet agreed to dinner and then explained to the host, "We're still on our first date," adding, "He never went home!"

Ryan Sweeting initially came to Los Angeles to visit his doctor after suffering a back injury. Kaley Cuoco recalled, "I kind of nursed him back to health," adding, "By day two I was like, 'Oh my god.' It was so unbelievable. I said, 'This is it, this is it.'"
