After news broke that Pauly D had fathered a baby on Tuesday, the "Jersey Shore" alum is now fighting his ex-fling and the baby's mother, Amanda Markert over custody. The reality TV star wants rights to his 5-month-old daughter, Amabella.

According to TMZ, the popular DJ, 33, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, is "at war" with his 25-year-old baby mother.

Sources close to both Pauly D and Markert told the celebrity news site that the former MTV star believes his ex isn't a fit mother. Pauly D even called her out for working at Hooters and having another child with another man.

The self-confessed guido wants some kind of custody of his daughter, but it's unclear whether he wants partial or full rights.

Reportedly, Pauly D hasn't even laid eyes on his baby girl, who was born in May. But with the custody battle, the ladies man is obviously looking to change that.

His ex isn't sitting down and taking his legal punches. Markert is demanding child support from the MTV alum. She even went as far as releasing a photo of Amabella Sophia in her high chair covered with $100 bills, reported TMZ.

But Pauly D said he is ready and willing to step up to the plate and take care of his child financially. He will supposedly feels as if Markert is treating the baby like winning a lottery ticket.

As for how the two got together in the first place, they allegedly hooked up one drunken night in Las Vegas.
