It looks like former "Laguna Beach" star Lauren Conrad is engaged her boyfriend William Tell. The designer revealed the big news on her personal blog over the weekend.

According to Us Weekly, she wrote, "I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend."

On Sunday the 27-year-old bestselling author gushed over about her new engagement. She wrote, "I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process."

She later thanked fans for their well wishes. She wrote, "William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes. Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment :-) ."

Placed above the captions, was the former "The Hills" star's gorgeous diamond ring. This will be the first marriage for both Conrad and Tell, 33.

The pair began dating on Valentine's Day in 2012, and recently moved in together now residing in her condo in Los Angeles' Westwood area.

A source close to Conrad told the magazine, "They are really excited they took this step," adding, "William knows he wants to marry Lauren."

Back in mid-August the pair celebrated their year-and-a-half anniversary. At the time Conrad took to Twitter to reflect on their time together. She tweeted, "Just looked at the calendar and realized it was a year and a half ago today that I met this guy...And I sure am glad I did."

The Paper Crown designer recently told Us Weekly that her family has welcomed her current fiancé into their home.

She revealed, "My family loves him, so they love when we come to visit."

During her time at Downy's Pop-Up Laundromat event in NYC in early June she admitted, "We spend a lot of weekends there hanging out by the pool and doing nothing."

However, when asked if a proposal was in her future with William Tell she said, "We aren't in a rush, though. We're happy where we are right now."

Lauren Conrad previously dated her former MTV costars Stephen Colletti, Brody Jenner,Jason Wahler, who was married to Ashley Slack this past weekend and actor Kyle Howard.
