MAC and Proenza Schouler will debut a new makeup collection this Spring!

The New York-based womenswear and accessories brand makes their first foray into the beauty category with the limited-edition range. While all the details haven't been fully disclosed just yet, we do have some idea of what Schouler and MAC have in mind.

Due out April 2014, Proenza Schouler will stock our beauty bags with lipstick, eyeliners, lip pencils and nail lacquers. The collection also includes ombre face powders, containing two or three face powders of complementary shades to swirl together for multidimensional color, reported The Cut. The forthcoming buffet of beauty items will also include a 129SE powder brush, which is a short-handed brush with a rounded shape used to apply both blush and powder.

And the new range will boast packaging inspired by a previous Proenza Schouler collection, which may be the electric surf-and-skater Spring 2010 fashion line, according to several reports.

MAC, who has created beauty looks for Proenza's runways each season, told the press on Wednesday that the collection "will be extremely unique."

"We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the MAC brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision," explained Proenza Schouler designers, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez.

Fashionista said they are expecting products with "soft, neutral colors perfect for creating that natural, fresh-faced, Proenza Schouler-approved beauty look."

Style.com said expect to see a lot of neutral shades punctuated by vibrant pops of color in the collection.
