The "Scandal" season 3 premiere is only a day away and the cast is still dishing out juicy spoilers! This time around Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope) and Bellamy Young (Mellie) are giving us some last minute details on the upcoming season and episode 1.

Starting with Olivia's leaked affair with President Fitz, when asked about the identity of the person who exposed the affair Kerry Washington told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson that, "You learn that in the very first episode."

When asked about how fans will feel about the big reveal the actress told the reporter, "I don't know how you will feel, but I was [floored]!"

Moving on, Washington discussed Olivia's "daddy issues." She said, "They're pretty serious."

She added,  "Obviously, the fact that we've never heard of him before and the fact that she's so shocked to see him in the season finale of Season 2, that's a small peek into the unraveling that we get in Season 3."

She went on to say, "We're getting a lot more back story on Olivia Pope. We're really getting a window into her past."

With all the drama expected to mount from this season it seems like Olivia and Fitz may not be over despite the leaked affair.

When asked if there will still be steamy love scenes between the two, Washington hinted, "I don't think you have to worry."

As far as major spoilers for episode 1 go, Bellamy Young spoke with Glamour magazine and laid out what we should expect in the first hour of season 3. She said, "The episode starts 20 minutes from where we left off from when she [Olivia] said, 'Dad?'

"All of Washington is in a state of uproar/panic, and the White House is no exception. We're in triage. Olivia can't be the fixer right now, so there's that dynamic change, which I think affects all the characters."

Young explained, "In a way, I feel like you're meeting all them for the first time this season. And in terms of Mellie, she, of course, thinks she should be the fixer. She has a very specific idea about how things should be handled, and she wants to stay in the White House another four years.

"And that will likely blow up in her face. I don't know if her plans will work out as well as she wants them to. I can also say that I got to do a scene with two other of my brilliant partners in crime over here in the Scandal family."

She continued, "It was almost like an one act play and that scene is like one of the biggest gifts we've ever gotten as actors. We haven't seen that episode yet, but I'm told that it's going to play as a whole act."

"Scandal" season 3 returns to ABC on Thursday night. Will you be watching?
